It was pouring down rain when I got to Florence this morning. When I checked radar, it looked like it would rain most of the day with periods of clearing. Unfortunately, my art can't stand up to getting rained on and my tent was already leaking...so, I packed up and went home.
The next show coming up is June the 19th...the Carnegie Art Walk in Decatur! I'm really looking forward to it!
I am an artist, with art being a somewhat solo enterprise, I thought blogging might be a great way to share my thoughts and feelings as I create. Art, for me, is a reflection of the natural world around me. The beauty I see in the creations of the planet inspire me. I feel a connection to the spirit of the life I am painting.
